About Jakob’s Circus

Jakob’s Circus is a finnish contemporary circus and theater company founded in 2008. It’s based in Tampere but tours actively in Finland and abroad. Our artistic quideline is based on clowning, physical theater, different circus techniques and acting with masks.

Our goal is to develope circus and theatre as art forms, create new kind of shows and create new experiences to our audience.  When performing in our own tent we can be closer and can therefore create interaction with the audience, which is important to us.
